Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Have you had a wonderful weekend? my weekend was so blessed, it was so beautiful!
As we’re in a new week we need to be safe on our roads more especially in the morning rush hour and always put on your seatbelt even if you’re a passenger, the Vaal accident of 14 kids losing their lives due to unprofessional driving is something we need to prevent at all times as kids are tomorrow’s future. According to the news official the driver didn’t have proper documentation as his licences card had expired and he was driving at high speed with kids during rush hour as he was overtaking cars Infront of him which is what led to the occurrence of the accident. My condolences to the families.
Let’s pray: Father Lord Jesus Christ king of Kings, we come before you this morning calling unto your great name that Lord may you once more teach us your word and align us with your will, Lord it is your will we need in our lives, Lord we pray that take over this new week as we pray for the safety our children’s on their way to school, in the name of Jesus Christ may protection reign unto them keeping them safe even in classes, Lord we thank you for protecting and leading us and our children to safety. Lord Jesus We thank you and we say Amen and Amen.
It is important that we respect the rules set before us in the county as these rules keep us safe in many ways, we cannot break the rules and blame the authorities for whichever outcome that occurs after breaking the rules. Rules and laws bring order in the environments we live in, keeping us safe with less worries.
Rules and laws are biblical as Moses was given the 10 commandments to give to the children of Israel for them to adhere and live a life filled with order, a life lived with order has growth and progress although challenges may be there but because of order, you’re able to overcome those challenges. We still live according to the 10 commandments and they still effective till today in our lives.
We may keep the laws in place and practice them as we should but without us acknowledging God, the practice will be in vain as He is the one who governs all living things, the earth is He’s earth and everything in it therefore when our kids leave in the morning going to school we need to pray for them every day even on weekends when your child wakes up in the morning pray for him/her, teach your children how to pray and how to worship God.
A prayerful child is a disciplined child. I say this because prayer needs you to be disciplined so it can be a part of you and who you are. We teach children to pray so they grow and be grounded in the ways of the Lord and such is becomes grounded and is able to stand strong, as kids are in classes there spirits and confusions that roam around to distract them in class-remember kids come from different families with different norms and when they all together in class a lot happens as some kids are working for the devil at a very young age, I say the because I was doing the same. Remember in my book I wrote how I was initiated in the kingdom of darkness from a young age as a child so, I know what I mean I say a lot happens in class when all kids are together.
Oh you asking yourself how many times you should pray for your child, well it depends how often you have time with your children yet what you can do is to:
• Pray with them when they wake up
• Pray for them before they leave for school ( if you leave before them then pray for them before you leave )
• Pray with them before everyone sleeps in the house.
Do those 3 points create that pattern in them then you’ll have yourself your own prayer partners in the house. Before we pause for today note this verses down to teach your children as you grounding them in the ways of the Lord.
